Mental Health
"When a person’s mind is fueled by positivity their actions produce life and movement, but a mind fueled with negativity produces a life that is fearful and stagnated…the mind is like the steering wheel driving the body to its destination. The direction and/or destination of a person’s life will reveal the health or unhealth of their mind.”
-Crystal N. White, M.A., LAC (Licensed Associate Counselor)
Excerpt from book “Lacking Nothing: Psalm 23: The Lord is my Shepherd, I Lack Nothing, Vol. 1.”
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
-Apostle Paul
Romans 12:2
Mental health is the condition of your mind, behavior and emotions. The condition of your mental health can change often as life produces unforeseen events, positive and negative. The goal is to manage your mental health in a manner that keeps you stable. When difficult times occur and they will, having a place of refuge and healthy coping skills are important to stabilize your mental health.
Major Depression Disorder is the leading cause of disability worldwide.*
In the U.S. 40 million adults beginning at the age of 18 years old suffer from anxiety.* While this stat does not include children 17 years and under, their group struggles with depression too.
Anxiety and depression are comorbid (a disorder/disease that exists alongside a primary disorder/disease) diagnoses with 75% of people with these disorders not seeking treatment.*
CNW.LIFE™’s slogan is,
